Jason Klotz

Jason Klotz is an experienced Texas trial attorney with more than 22 years of litigation experience representing individuals, businesses, and insurers in complex civil matters. His practice has focused extensively on personal injury and insurance-related litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, property damage claims, tort litigation, probate matters, and general civil disputes.

 

Throughout his career, Jason has managed high-volume litigation dockets ranging from 100 to more than 300 active cases while supervising large litigation and pre-litigation teams. He has extensive courtroom experience, including first-chair jury trial experience, having successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in Texas courts. In addition to trial work, he has participated in hundreds of depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations.

 

Prior to joining Johnson & Carter, Jason served in senior litigation roles at several Texas law firms, where he supervised attorneys and staff, developed litigation strategy, and helped oversee firm operations and attorney training programs.

 

Mr. Klotz is known for his practical approach to litigation, attention to detail, and commitment to client communication. His experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides of litigation provides him with a broad perspective in evaluating claims, assessing risk, and developing effective legal strategies.

 

He earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University and his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2004.
